Last week I promised that we would talk about bonding! So let’s get started… How do men and women bond? Women deepen relationships by talking together. Men bond by doing things together. Women…we long for a man that understands us, will listen to us, someone we can talk to. We like to feel that when the going gets tuff there will be a strong shoulder to cry on and strong arms that will wrap around us and above all a sympathetic ear to listen to us. Good communication is important to a man but it is higher on the females needs list. Now for a Man….he wants his woman to enjoy the same activities, he wants a woman he can have fun with. A man wants his woman to go golfing, fishing, to a football game, basketball, a good movie, out for a meal or simply to just sit home together and be couch potatoes. Bonding in this way is important to a woman it is just higher on a man’s list. Think about it…when we first meet we go to the games, movies, dinner, sit around watching movies or lying in till late on a Sunday, we listen to each other and provide that shoulder and then the children and careers get in the way and all of a sudden there are other priorities and all the bonding goes out the window. Is it any wonder that our relationships suffer when you know that this is all high priority stuff and all part of the investment in personal relationships? Successful, thriving businesses get it. They have their staff bond regularly Women want to know that, after making love there will be something to talk about with their man. Men want to know that, after making love, there will be something to do with their woman. Go bond and make this a priority once again in your relationship. Catch up again next month.
