Welcome to our newsletter.
Hi all you wonderful women out there.
Worked with some extraordinary women stepping up to the challenges of changes in their relationships over the past few weeks, so am dedicating this newsletter to others that are facing changes in your lives too.
First a few questions… Why do men engage in conversation? Give up? In order to have a man interact and engage with you there needs to be at least one of the 4 possibilities below
Why do women engage in conversation? Women discuss feelings: Ask a man about his feelings and he will probably give you a two or three word answer and the conversation spirals down from there. Women want to discuss his feelings: “Do you want to talk about it?” Sometimes it’s wise to leave him in his fox hole ladies, respect his silence the way his buddies do. Spare him the details and detective work. Something has obviously upset him but he is on top of it….his buddies know that and say something like: “You’ll be right mate” When we women get upset we want to discuss it, talk about it. Now he knows something is obviously wrong but you look like you’re on top of it to him and he respects the fact that you can handle it, just like he does! Is it any wonder why we are all confused! Second question….. Who talks the most, Men or women? Men. How can that be you may well ask? Have you ever wondered why he talked so much and listened so attentively to you when you first met? Well….it was because he hadn’t yet won you, conquered or solved you yet! When he has you all worked out (or so he thinks) then over night he becomes a ‘CLAM’…he simply clams up and it feels as though he just doesn’t talk or listen to us anymore…..that’s because he is comfortable with you, he no longer feels he has to win you, conquer you, solve you., he just sits around feeling comfortable with you. Got to love them! Next week we will talk about how men and women bond together. You may be totally surprised to learn this small but very important piece of information, See you next time Warm regards Deborah.
